After our last test in Boise we headed straight to Washington to visit Logan's family! We hadn't been there in 1.5 years! It's hard to get out there with school and little kids (that and me being pregnant too has made it hard to travel that far). Anyway, the kids did so good on the car ride there. We had a lot of fun and did lots of fun things. Here are some pictures. I'll probably update again with a couple more pictures from Logan's phone because he got some that I missed :)
*In the car on the drive. The kids did amazing on the way there! They colored, watched movies, played with toys, and every couple of hours I had a dollar store gift wrapped that they got to open. They loved it and it helped keep them pretty occupied. The last two hours were the worst, but we made it there safe and sound. (10 hours from Boise...)
*We spent lots of time at a park playing. Trying to use up all of the girl's energy!*
*Uncle Ian and Eric were being goofy and trying on Grandma's pants. I got some pretty good pictures! We took Grandma out and bought her new pants since hers don't fit her well anymore.*
*We also went to to a Nature/Animal Park nearby. It was pretty cool. The animals are all out in a big range and you ride a bus around looking at them. It's pretty neat. They also have a mini zoo area with a bunch of different animals. The kids loved it and were completely worn out afterwards.*
*Abby and Uncle Eric after getting home from the park. They were exhausted!*
*Emma learned how to pump while we were there! She is super pleased with herself and loves swinging by herself now!*
*This was the dance party that happened when Logan learned that he passed his last test and was officially a pharmacist!*
*We went to the children's museum. Awesome place for the kids. We could have spent all day there. I wish there was something like this nearby our home. I'd get a yearly pass :)*
*This cop car was one of Abby's favorite parts!*
*They had a pretend hospital area with baby beds. So we stuck Bre in one. She actually liked it and was smiling and giggling.*
*Logan pretending to get arrested :)*
*And then hit by a firetruck...*
*Real men babywear!*
*I love this picture of Emma. I think it shows her bossy side so well :)*
*We made little parachutes and then stuck them inside of the air tube and they would fly up in the air. Super fun and creative.*
*Abby's favorite part was dressing up like a fairy princess. Typical Abby :) They stood up on the little stage and sang and danced for us.*
*Abby was good at always taking a bow after a song!*
*This was a giant version of those pin things you push in to show your hand print or whatever. Logan and Ian had WAY too much fun with it. Some ladies there with their kids were cracking up. Logan just said he paid $10 to get in, he was gonna enjoy it :)*
*Emma liked the construction area.*
*On the way there Bre was crying and Emma held her hand and comforted her. It was super sweet. Emma is an amazing big sister. She is so helpful and sweet with Bre.*
*And then Ian got a turn with babywearing.*
*Then Uncle Ian paid for Emma to do a this trampoline jumping thing. She LOVED it. And talked about it for days afterwards.*
*Uncle Ian and Uncle Eric built this awesome fort. And then they and the kids slept it in. Emma and Abby were in heaven!*
*I'll just add that while Bre did hang out in it for a while, she did not sleep there, lol*
*On our last day we went up to Seattle and Ian went through the temple for the first time (He's leaving on his mission on July 31st--Colorado Denver South mission). I didn't go through because I had to feed Bre, so the girls and I just went to a park and played for 3 hours. They LOVED it. It was an amazing park and it was right next to the temple.*
*We completely wore Emma out.*
*Found this penny stuck in the cigarette lighter right before heading home. We had to dig it out so we could plug the DVD player in. Oh Abby...*
*We drove half of the way home and then stopped at a hotel and then headed home the next morning. The kids were exhausted from a week of fun and were happy to be home with their toys and their beds!*
