A Not Too Sad Story

So yesterday Logan and I were signed up to go the cannery. Another friend of mine came with me (and so did her kids--we dropped them and Emma off at my mom's in IF). Anyway, on our drive to IF from Poky, we got to about Blackfoot, when Emma began to cry and scream--she had decided she was hungry and would not wait. I tried to calm her down but she ended up screaming all the way to my parent's house. It was AWFUL. Anyways, that night when we went to pick her up she was sounding a little bit hoarse. Then when we got home to Poky she started coughing like crazy... it was a rough night for me. And then today she's had the cough all day. It's made me so sad to listen to it and think it's all just from screaming in the car :(
I wish I would have known it would make her throat so dry and sore, I would have done things differently... :(

Third Tooth and other Emma Adventures

Yesterday Emma finally got her third tooth, I've thought it was on it's way for a while now, but it finally broke through. She was pretty grouchy, but she's feeling better now.

She is also crawling EVERYWHERE. Anywhere, anytime. She climbs all over me whether I am standing, sitting on the floor or couch... etc. It's crazy, I'll try to get a fun video of that sometime soon.

*She crawled up to the table, then to the TV. Did that a ton of times yesterday. She fell hard twice, the first time just scratched the side of her face, the second time her bottom teeth cut her upper lip, I couldn't see the cut, but just a little bit of blood, I felt SOOO bad. But she recovered very quickly.*
*Showing off her new coat, our friend gave it to us, we really love it! (They also gave us another one that is super cute too!)*

Surprise!

I had a very humbling day today.
Last week I was asked to serve in the Nursery, so all week I prepared myself to deal with kids in the Nursery again (In my ward in Rexburg Logan and I served in the Nursery for over a year and loved it). Anyway, so before church I got a call to come early because they needed to talk to me again. So I figured they probably wanted to switch me to a different primary class or something like that.
Well...
Not quite...
They asked me to be the Education Counselor (1st Counselor) in the Relief Society.
I, to say the least, was very surprised.
I don't know a lot about the Relief Society, I've never served there before, and really I've had other callings that usually take me away from the RS, so I haven't ever been able to attend for long. But, I am excited to really be a part of the RS, and to associate with the women in my ward. I'm nervous and scared, but for some reason the Lord wanted me there, so I know I'll be able to do whatever He needs me to.

More Halloween Pics

My friend Kelly snapped some shots of all of us at the Trunk-or-Treat:

I am participating in this Halloween Carnival. Check it out:

Emma's First Halloween

Emma and I just hung out together for Halloween evening. Logan had to study so he was gone the whole time.

*Found the candy bowl!*
*Eating a sucker all by herself!*

*Licking her hands after they got all sticky and yummy tasting*

Video of Emma digging in the candy bowl!

Tallin's Soccer Game

Today Emma and I went to our neighbor, Tallin's, soccer game! It was fun to watch all the kids chase the ball around and around :)

*Emma crawled all over me at the soccer game and then went to sleep in about two seconds in the car on the way home!*
*Pictures are in the wrong order. This is the end of the game cheer!*
*Tallin's head is inside the goal. Everybody piled on him after he tripped over the ball into the net!*
*Tallin is really good at soccer and older than all the other kids, so he pretty much dominated everyone*

Story:
I am afraid of 3 things: the dark, ketchup, and BEES (yellow jackets, hornets, etc).
So on the way home from the soccer game I hear this buzzing noise, I ignored it until I was finally annoyed and looked behind me. THERE WAS A BEE (YELLOW JACKET, HORNET... SOMETHING LIKE THAT) ON THE WINDOW!! I freaked out and rolled down the window and then then bee flew around the car a little bit and then finally went out the window. To say the least, it completely freaked me out, and we probably almost got in an accident while I was panicking... but we survived.

The "NO" Again

Here's the "NO" shake again. She does it every time that toy plays music. (sorry about the TV in the background, I was watching A Baby Story on TLC)
