Nothing makes me happier...

Than my family.

I know I haven't updated in a while, so there are some random stories and pics below.
We are slowly getting accustomed to two little girls. Emma is super active and has to be busy and entertained ALL of the time. She runs from one thing to the next all day. I love how much energy she has. I can't leave anything out that I don't want her into because it's a guarantee that she'll get into it. Abby is a sweet little girl. She loves her mommy and wants to be held constantly.

*Bright eyed beauty! I think both my girls have the prettiest eyes.*

For a while I thought Abby was having problems whenever I drank milk or had milk products so I went off it for a few weeks. She did better and then I had some again and she's done fine... so if that was the problem she's over it now... and if it wasn't the problem... well she's still over it now.

*Cute hair*

We recently got Netflix and she constantly brings me the Wii remote and says "show?" or "woody" depending on what she wants to watch. Show usually means I can pick Inspector Gadget, She-Ra, or Bob the Builder (who she calls Manny because we used to watch Handy Manny). I don't like watching TV a lot... but it sure has been a help while getting used to having two kids. I really can't wait til summer and we can spend more time outside. We recently moved to a new place. We now live in the basement of a house, with our friends, the Pettingils living above us. We have our own backyard and we love it. The house is on a hill so the basement opens up to the backyard and has big windows, so it doesn't feel too much like a basement. I also LOVE that we don't have stairs anymore. It's nice to not have to worry about Emma on the stairs :)

*Sleeping after playing outside*

Abby is a handful. She's a fairly happy baby... as long as I'm holding her. If I put her down for even a minute she's screaming and holding her breath til she's bright red and ready to pass out. She just needs lots of attention I guess. Luckily Emma is fine with me holding Abby. She doesn't get jealous. I think I can count the number of times on one hand that she's said "Abby down" when she wants my attention. We're pretty good about reading books and coloring while I hold Abby at the same time, so it hasn't been too bad.

*This is how Emma watches movies now, all cuddled up on her bean bag--with Woody of course*

*Logan trained her well*

*She slept with her hand up like this for like 30 mins! And this is one of those once a day when she will sleep by herself moments*

The other day Emma had cereal in a bowl with milk for the first time. She wants to have it every day for breakfast now. (Before she just had cereal, and milk in a sippy... so we got brave to face the mess... but it really isn't too bad).

*Love the hair! This is when mom is too overwhelmed to do it...*

*Cutie*

*For a while Emma refused to sleep on her bed (just for a few days randomly) and would pull out her big doll and puppy and sleep on them.*

Emma is also quite the artist. She LOVES to draw. She almost always has a pen in her hand and is doodling away. She knows how to draw circles and is quite proud of herself when she does :)

*Drawing*

Emma is also a GREAT big sister! Whenever Abby cries she tries to give her the binky (shove it in her mouth...) and says "Abby sad". It's cute that she tries to help...

*Sharing her hat with Abby*

Emma also likes to point out Abby's eyes, nose, mouth, ears... and she's not too gentle about it. She has baby dolls so I don't think she realizes that Abby isn't just a baby doll.

Emma knows Abby's binky is Abby's... but she likes to take it anyway and run away laughing. It's all just a big game for her...

*One of Abby's favorite positions to be in*

Emma is at that stage where she repeats everything I say.
It's cute and scary at the same time :)

Love all the pics! I need to be better and take daily pics of Mace so I can remember these simple times which are just the best.
