My little baby is no longer a baby. She's a little toddler! We've had a lot of fun teaching her new things and watching her grow. She's super smart and learns quick. She is also the happiest kid I know! She is constantly laughing, at who knows what (probably me and I don't realize it...)!
I've also tried to get her to understand... even maybe a little bit, that she's going to have a baby sister soon. When I ask her where baby sister is she comes over and pats my belly... so she gets WHERE it is... just probably not WHAT yet. She also LOVES babies. I bought her one from the dollar store a while ago and she loves to hold and cuddle it... and of course throw it across the room when she's mad. Obviously when baby sister comes (we've ALMOST settled on a name, right now it's Abigail Ginny-yes... Ginny from Harry Potter) we'll have to keep a close eye on her.
*We went to the Fair in Blackfoot. It was a lot of fun!*
We've also had a lot of fun with her hair recently. She has a lot of it, and it's pretty long, so I've been trying to be creative with it (even when she screams and runs away from me...)
*Ponytail*
*Pigtails*
She loves to be outside constantly and really wishes that she was big enough to ride a bike. No trikes for her, she wants a bike. She tries to climb on the neighbor kids bikes and ride them... that usually ends in tragedy though.
*Sitting like a little princess*
She knows where her nose, eyes, mouth, tongue, ears, and hair are. She's also obsessed with belly buttons. The other day I was reading her a Beauty and the Beast story and I said "Look there's Belle" and she lifted her shirt to show me her belly button. LOL. She was so proud of herself :)
*Pointing out my cousin Riley's belly button. We went to visit some of my family and Riley and Emma got along great!*
*Cool sunglasses... that she will only wear for about 10 seconds... if that*
She's also expanding her vocabulary pretty quickly. Here are some words she knows: eye, pretty, wow, doggie, puppy, daddy, mommy, baby, car, binky, bike, no, mine, book, Emma, shoes, Poppa (grandpa), diaper, bye bye, uh oh, cheese and a few more I can't think of right now.
*Legos with dad. She LOVES legos and is pretty good at sticking them together!*
She also loves dancing and singing. We signed her up for a music class that her and Logan will go to together, so that should be fun. Her favorite song is the Itsy-Bitsy Spider.
She's also got the "grab mommy's finger and drag her around wherever she wants to go" move down. At first it was cute... now I'm just tired of following her around all day doing nothing :) She's also gotten very interested in reading books, she brings them to me all of the time, she doesn't have a very long attention span, but it'll come.
*Messy hair!*
*The only time she's fallen asleep while eating... there were handfuls of cheetos in her hands, and she was REALLY mad when I pried them out of her hands to put her to bed!*
We read scriptures every day so she knows we read them and she brings them to me randomly throughout the day. She also knows who Jesus is. We have a picture hanging in our living room and whenever I ask where Jesus is, she looks around and then points to it. It always gives me warm fuzzies :)
*Emma's FIRST McDonald's kids meal. I know... what a special moment :) *
*Logan plays basketball with a bunch of people from the ward every Tuesday... here's Emma begging him to come hold her!*
We also decided to try out her toddler bed. We've only been going for a few days now, but it's going pretty good I think. I removed all of her toys and put the gate up in the doorway of her room so she can't get out. At night she usually falls asleep on her bed, but naptimes... she falls asleep all over the room. The first night she fell asleep on the rocking chair, and another time for nap time she fell asleep in the baby bouncer. It cracks me up, hopefully I can get some good pictures. But also hopefully, she'll learn soon that her bed is really the comfiest place to sleep. After I move her to her bed she always sleeps through the night and wakes up happy in the morning. She's pretty much completely adjusted now (about a week after the first part was written) and I am SO happy that it was a quick and easy transition.

I am LOVING Abigail Ginny's name! How did you come up with it? (See, it's things like this I wish I was there to talk to you about!)
