Apparently we weren't supposed to go on any vacations this summer.
If you recall, when we went to visit Logan's family I ended up in the ER there.
Well... to begin our Bear Lake trip (which there is another post about) we first went to Twin Falls because Logan's Grandpa's wife had passed away. After the funeral we went to a church building and were visiting with family in the gym while the kids ran away to play. Well... I went to the bathroom and Logan didn't realize I had so Emma escaped. I think I was gone about 3 minutes! When I came back Emma was gone and we started to search the building. We found her in the kitchen. There was a nearly empty bottle of dishwashing detergent on the floor, and a lot of vomit. She was screaming and crying like crazy. So we jumped in the car and headed to the ER in Twin Falls. (I didn't have the number for poison control so we did what we could). The whole way there she would cough and choke and out would come bubbles (of course I can laugh thinking back on it that it was just like the cartoons... but I wasn't exactly in a laughing mood at the time).

Anyways, the ER was super NOT busy so we had lots of nurses checking on us and calling poison control, etc. Within about 5 minutes of being there she was pretty much back to normal. They gave her some milk and graham crackers and she was just as happy as could be (except that it was way past nap time and there was no nap yet...)
Anyway, what a relief. She was just fine and there were no side affects. I think she must have thrown pretty much everything but the little bit she coughed up on the way to the hospital. The following two pics aren't great, but I was in a hurry to snap a couple of pictures before the doctor came back. I thought she looked super cute in her little yellow hospital clothes :)

Wow, poor Emma. But I'm glad she was able to get most of it out before the doctors needed to intervene.
And maybe you guys should forgo vacations for a while??? ;)
