Today was eventful.
I woke up fine, showered, got ready to go to the temple in Portland with Logan's family...
and seriously... 5 mins before we left I started having severe abdominal pain.
We headed to the doctor, by the time we got there I was feeling better.
Then they told us they couldn't help us we'd have to go to the hospital.
So I decided I was fine and we could leave the in-laws house and head to Portland.
We left... about 40 miles from Portland I felt blood.
Uh....oh....
So we stopped at the nearest hospital in...
what was that place called?
Oh, yes, the thriving metropolis of Longview.
Anyways, we were there about 4 hours.
To sum it up we waited a lot...
the baby was just fine, had a strong heartbeat of 180
(if you believe old wives tales... then this little one is a girl because that's a fast heart rate!)
We discovered the problem to be a "subchorionic bleed"
which basically is a spot 7cm by 2 cm that is bleeding.
I'm flying to IF tomorrow and have a doctors appointment to get checked out.
They didn't know exaclty what to tell me other than I'm on bedrest now until I stop bleeding,
but we'll find out from my doc the official story tomorrow.
I'm feeling okay now, a little constant pain,
but it's bearable.
We are just hoping that it heals just fine soon and we have no more problems.
I'd just like to ask that you keep us in your prayers.
Thank you!
