TODAY

Weird day... Everything just didn't go the way it was supposed to.

First, as normal, Emma woke up at around 7:30 am. I was still sleepy so I curled up on the floor in her room, which is child-proofed, and dozed while she crawled around and played. Around 8:30 am she came whining to me, so I fed her and she zonked out... until around 11 am!! WEIRD! Anyway, during that time I had a meeting with the RS Pres to learn about my responsibilities and then just hung out with Logan. (Emma and I were sick over the weekend and last night Logan started feeling sick so he stayed home most of today). I went to pick up my laptop from off the floor and hit my elbow super hard (well... right above my elbow) and it still HURTS so bad. I think I just bruised it super bad, but deep, cuz there's no mark on the skin.

Anyway, so we finally really got UP and decided to have some grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch!

Yum! We cooked a couple of sandwiches, and Logan made himself some Tomato soup on the burner next to the one we made the sandwiches on. Well... mistake #1 we forgot to turn that burner off.

So I was making another sandwich for Logan and then mistake #2 I put Logan's plate and mine stacked together on the burner that was still... unfortunately on.

Then I put his sandwich on the plates and tried to cut it (mistake #3) and POP! The plate underneath exploded into pieces ALL over the kitchen. Scared the heck out of me, pretty sure I went into shock for like 5 minutes, I barely remember what happened after that. But we got it cleaned up and taken care of. And Logan burned his finger really bad on the second plate while I was in shock and just standing there, poor guy.

So anyway, then Logan left to study and ended up back home in a couple hours because the class he was going to study for didn't have the study sheet available for the test, so yeah, he couldn't study for it! So we got Logan home with us most of the day! YAY! Anyway, just a weird day. Glad it's over... and I survived!
